Fruits Moisturizing Facial Masks: When we talk of fruits hydrating face masks for dry skin, avocado comes to my mind immediately. The avocado works as a hydration miracle and is best for sensitive skin. The following are different versions of avocado moisturizing face mask.

(i) Avocado Alone: You need a ripe avocado for this easy mask. Mashed one avocado into a consistent paste, apply gently over your cleansed face and leave there for 15-20 minutes, and then rinse it off.

(ii) Avocado Delight: Mix one ripe avocado, one teaspoon yogurt, one teaspoons olive oil and one teaspoon honey to form a uniform paste. Apply and leave it on for twenty minutes, and then rinse it off.

2. Vitamin C Face Mask: Mix 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt, 2 tablespoons of orange juice and 1 teaspoon of organic almond oil in a small glass bowl. Stir the mixture until it forms a consistent paste. Wash your face and neck with a gentle cleanser. Pat your skin dry with a soft towel. Apply the mixture onto your face and neck thoroughly, avoiding your eyes, nostrils and mouth. Let the mixture remain on your skin for 20-25 minutes. Rinse the mask off with water, pat dry your skin and apply a thin layer of moisture to augment the hydrating power of the mask.

This hydrating face mask serves dual purpose. The almond oil will hydrate your skin and vitamin C contained in the orange juice will work to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

Quick tip: Homemade beauty recipe with the use of coconut oil: You can treat yourself with inexpensive spa experience by creating this simple natural body scrub: mix coconut oil (it should be liquid) with half cup of brown sugar. Add as much oil as you need, until you obtain the paste (it shouldn’t be too liquid), then, add a couple of drops of essential oil of your choice for better odour. For example, I love orange essential oil, it will add wonderful scent to your homemade beauty treatment and, by the way, orange essential oil is known to be the one that lifts up one’s mood and brings peace and happiness to the mind. Gently massage your body with this amazing exfoliating beauty treatment while in the shower, concentrating on areas where you might have cellulite or stretch marks, avoiding the delicate area around your chest. Your body will feel very soft and tender.
